Project Overview
A high-performance home for a GT4 team
Randall Racing is an Australian motorsport team competing in the Monochrome GT4 Australia series. When they approached Ascoat to transform an old, tired steel fabrication workshop into a proper race team headquarters, we jumped at the chance to showcase what our systems can do.
In getting to know Peter and Jacob Lawrence, we understood that performance and appearance mattered equally — this floor needed to work as hard as the team does, and look the part while doing it. We were able to draw directly on a previous project for BMW Australia using the same system.

Our Solution
Engineered flooring, expertly installed
We used our proven process and premium Flowcrete systems to deliver a seamless, ultra-flat floor with a fine non-slip finish.

The Details That Matter
A colour chosen with intent
Lightbox Grey N33 was selected as a deliberate contrast to the workshop’s dark painted walls, opening the space up and giving the finished floor a sense of scale it didn’t have before.
Once complete, the hoists went back in and the cars rolled in just in time for a coffee-and-cars morning with the BMW club, showcasing the race car set-up alongside some classic Aussie muscle.
